All image processing is done locally in your browser via WebAssembly, ensuring privacy. Smart compression balances quality and size, supports batch processing, before/after comparison, and one-click download. Optimizes image loading and transfer efficiency for SEO, social media, email, and more.
JXL (JPEG XL) is a next-gen high-efficiency image format supporting lossy/lossless compression, transparency, wide color gamut, and HD quality. At equivalent quality, it is far smaller than JPG/PNG. Compatible with modern browsers and platforms, it is the next-generation high-performance image standard.
JXL already has high compression efficiency, but further optimization can make images even smaller, significantly boosting load speeds for web pages, mini-programs, and apps, saving storage and data while maintaining visually lossless quality.
JXL uses a hybrid coding architecture based on DCT and Gabor transforms. Lossy mode compresses visual redundancy through adaptive quantization and perceptual optimization. Lossless mode uses reversible transform units for fully lossless restoration. Quality parameters can be flexibly adjusted to achieve ultra-high compression ratios while preserving quality, wide color gamut, and transparency.
| Use Case | Quality Level | Compression Ratio | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| HD photography, design work, print materials | 90-100 | 10-30% | Visually lossless, preserves all detail, color, and clarity |
| Web graphics, product displays, social platforms | 75-89 | 40-60% | Balanced quality and size, best general choice, no visible difference |
| Thumbnails, list images, previews | 60-74 | 60-80% | High compression, compact size, extremely fast loading |
| Extreme optimization, low-bandwidth, batch storage | Below 60 | 80%+ | Minimal size, ideal for fast loading and bulk asset storage |
